This weekend we had a chance to spend 2 nights in Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa and honestly saying, it was WONDERFUL! 2 nights in one of the most calm places in the world, in the heart of snowy Swiss Alps. This big resort has everything you may need: spacious modern but still classic Swiss style rooms and suits (our suit even had a terrace with a breathtaking mountain view!); big SPA with panoramic windows, pretty long pool and jacuzzi. We also appreciate sauna, we visited Finnish (~90-100 degrees) one, but I’ve noticed that there was a soft sauna as well. Free tea and lemon water was at our disposal and we much appreciated it after visiting SPA facilities. The hotel has 5 restaurants. It was too hard to choose, we preferred to visit Italian Taverne on the first evening and we didn’t regret! The steak was very delicious, we loved the idea of serving the salads and dressings ourselves. Chocolate fondant with passion fruit and yoghurt ice-cream was also a perfect dessert to finish with!  The next day we went to Ahaan Thai restaurant. Honestly saying, I never tried Thai food so I was a bit worried would it be a good option for me. And I need to say, it wasn’t good, it was exceptional! Crusty shrimps and sweet shrimp noodles were beyond my expectations! For dessert we took exotic fruits with fruit sorbets (mango, passion fruit and lime). As a bonus, the hotel has the lounge, the bar and even its own takeaway service! If you are still not convinced, there are even more facilities as game room, hair saloon, wedding and meeting rooms and, finally, ski slopes, that you can see directly from the window of your room! We have been in Arosa Kulm Hotel & Alpin Spa in winter, but we saw on the pictures how beautiful it is in summer, so, both seasons can be a good option. It is a perfect solution for those who are coming to ski: you can pass a half day on skiing slopes and then you can relax at the Spa. Two nights were not enough for us to discover everything, so we will definitely come back one day for a longer getaway!
