Moustiers-Sainte-Marie - one of the most beautiful villages of France

This place is too beautiful to be true!

And luckily, I am not the only person who thinks like that! Moustiers-Sainte-Marie is officially one of the most beautiful villages of France! (and yet, it’s population is less than 1000!)

If you visited this place at least once you will clearly understand why it’s like that.

We found this village occasionally, when we were leaving Valensole in the morning and still had some time to enjoy Provence before going home. We just tapped in Google “places to see around Valensole”:D 

I can’t even imagine how many places would be still undiscovered if we didn’t have Internet!

So, what to do in Moustiers if you have just a couple of hours?

Wind is either my best friend or my worst enemy :D

-Take a drink in a bar with a mountain waterfall view;

-Climb the mountain in order to see a Chapel and mountain caves. By the way, the view is magical from this spot! And the way up takes only 30-45 minutes;

-Take a photo on the flower bridge;

-Buy lavender souvenirs and lavender honey;

-Visit Musée de la Faience (if you are a pottery lover!) (Unfortunately we were not able to do it because of Covid, but I saw lots of good reviews!)
